Rob O’Neill was removed from an American Airlines plane over the weekend for being too drunk.
TMZ reported the following:
Rob O’Neill, the Navy Seal who killed Osama bin Laden, was thrown off a plane Sunday because airline personnel said he was too drunk to fly.
O’Neill boarded an American Airlines jet in Nashville bound for Dallas. Before the plane took off, flight attendants noticed he was extremely drunk.
O’Neill was not arrested. Law enforcement sources tell us cops put him in a cab to go to a hotel. American Airlines later rebooked him on another flight.
Look, O’Neill put two 5.56 rounds through Osama Bin Laden’s head. He blew it wto smithereens. That guy should be allowed to drink as much as he wants, whenever he wants, wherever he desires and there’s nothing anybody should ever be allowed to say about.
Hand the man a bottle of whiskey and let him tell the flight some stories. Do you think anybody on that plane wanted him removed? Almost certainly not. They probably would have all loved the opportunity to tell the world that they shared a flight with the hammered Navy SEAL that killed Osama Bin Laden. That’s a story that most people couldn’t ever even dream of of telling.
When you kill the most wanted man in the world, you get to do pretty much whatever you want. Who hasn’t been drunk on a plane before? That’s a normal part of flying. Nobody likes flying sober because flying for the most part sucks.
Honestly, this is a terrible look for American Airlines, especially given they share a name with the country O’Neill was defending. We should probably just give him a private jet and let him zip all over the world. I think he’s earned it.
