Rapper Vic Mensa is not a fan of AR-15s, and he made that crystal clear.
Mensa recently was spotted by TMZ and told them, “Point blank, you’ve got to ban AR-15s…You don’t need an AR-15 to kill a deer. You just don’t.”
It’s pretty wild that Mensa thinks he’s qualified to hand out gun advice given the fact he was arrested and pled no contest to having an illegal concealed weapon in his vehicle.
Call me crazy on this one, but I really don’t think we should be taking gun advice from people who have a criminal history. Again, maybe that’s too hot of my own take here, but I don’t think it is.
Being a rapper with a criminal history doesn’t make you qualified to speak about guns by a long shot. This is why people hate celebrities. They absolutely hate him. This guy raps for a living, and somehow thinks he can opine about weapons that should be legal or not.
Give me a break, and leave the gun stuff to the people who know what they’re talking about.
