Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz insisted on Thursday that she wants to keep “high capacity, rapid-fire magazines” out of the hands of civilians.

The lawmaker started off by stating that “military-style weapons” should only be available to the military and not civilians, and then pivoted to talk about magazines. (RELATED: Marie Harf Calls Out ‘High Magazine Clips’)
Wasserman Schultz, while stumbling over her words, argued that Congress should be “making sure that we don’t have high-capacity, rapid-fire magazines that allow mass killing and whose primary purpose is to achieve that.”
“That’s gonna stop this problem,” she insisted.
We’re not sure what a “rapid-fire magazine” is, but it sure sounds scary.
