Netflix dropped the trailer Tuesday for the second season of Marvel’s “Luke Cage” and from the clip it looks like it’s going to be explosive.
“After clearing his name, Luke Cage has become a celebrity on the streets of Harlem with a reputation as bulletproof as his skin,” a description released with the trailer on YouTube read.
“But being so visible has only increased his need to protect the community and find the limits of who he can and can’t save,” it added. “With the rise of a formidable new foe, Luke is forced to confront the fine line that separates a hero from a villain.”
In the voice over, Cage–played by Mike Colter–explains “you can’t burn me..you can’t blast me..and you definitely can’t break me.”
“When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city,” the description from the first season on IMDb read.
The second season will see a return of Colter along with other stars from the first one like Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Alfre Woodard and Rosario Dawson.
According to Deadline, the premiere for “Luke Cage” Season 2 comes out June 22 and will have 13-episodes.
