Kim Kardashian just released a new collection of branded emojis known more popularly as Kimojis. The previous images included graphics of scantily clad Kardashians and recognizable moments from their show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.”
But Kim’s decided to venture into uncharted territory this year: politics.
That’s right. Her new emojis are getting a whole new makeover and it smells like protest.
But not everybody stands with Kim on this one. Weird, I know. The most shocking part, however, is that it’s mostly feminists who don’t support Kim’s sudden lean to the left.
“Women’s Empowerment emojis is a slap to every women who has stood to fight for our rights,” one woman wrote. “I’m sure #AnnFrank #MalalaYousafzai #rosaparks fought for us all so u can use girl power to sell this…All Class.”

I’m all for women’s choice for their bodies- but my personal feminist fight is to *NOT* be looked at as only tits&ass all the time. Society knows women have body parts. What is needed is the world to recognize our minds. THAT is what is lacking.#feminism #Kimoji #missedthepoint https://t.co/V9wfzjYUuT

Emojis released by a woman who got famous recording a sex tape meant to empower women. The irony… #kimoji

Whatever happened to my body, my choice? Isn’t that the whole purpose of the feminist movement? I thought women were allowed to parade their bodies around however they wanted. They could either wear a burka for the rest of their lives or they could exploit a sex tape to kick start a career. There’s legitimately zero difference between the two.
