One of the most interesting stories about every model is how their parents react when they’re careers take off. And, as you might expect, it’s the father who usually has the strongest reaction.
Georgia Gibbs recently made her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and despite being very supportive of his daughter, Gibbs’ police officer father is apparently hiding the magazine from his co-workers.

In an interview with Fox News published Thursday Gibbs opened up about her journey to the pages of the magazine and revealed how her dad reacted when she made it big. (RELATED: The Newest SI Swimsuit Model Is A Sight For Sore Eyes)
“Honestly, my dad is my best friend. He is the most supportive, incredible man. He’s actually fine with the attention I’m getting and super proud,” Gibbs said. “I think it’s more at work, he’ll be hiding the issue from many of his colleagues,” the beautiful blonde said with a laugh.
The Australian stunner also revealed in the interview that Sports Illustrated discovered her on Instagram, which seems to be happening more and more these days. After taking one look at her page it’s easy to see why they brought her on.
