Newly released audio sheds new light on the horrifying moments during the mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida last month.

“Somebody is shooting up Stoneman Douglas,” someone inside the school told a 911 operator. When the operator said she couldn’t hear him, he says again, “Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School is getting shot up.”

The shooting in Parkland, Florida killed 17 people. The shooter, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, was a former student of the school who had been expelled. (RELATED: The Government Repeatedly Failed To Stop The Parkland Shooter)
