Washington Capitals star Alex Ovechkin netted his 600th career goal Monday night against the Winnipeg Jets.

The Russian-born forward has had an incredible career since entering the league in 2005, and getting his 600th goal puts him as the 20th highest goal scorer in league history.

The Caps also released a chilling hype video before the game to amp up the crowd in anticipation that Ovi would net his 600th goal during the game.

Ovi has been one of the greatest hockey players to ever play the game. Sure, he hasn’t had the postseason success that you’d expect for or hope to get out of a guy of his stature. However, you’re an absolute idiot if you don’t respect what the man can do on the ice.

He scores goals like it’s a casual event on a Monday night, and he’s been doing it for more than a decade. That’s what I like to call a superstar. He wins the Stanley Cup at least once in his career, and he’ll be forever cemented as a hockey legend.
