The trailer for the upcoming movie “Adrift” was released Wednesday, and it looks incredibly intriguing.

The plot of the film, according to IMDB, is, “Based on the true story of survival, a young couple’s chance encounter leads them first to love, and then on the adventure of a lifetime as they face one of the most catastrophic hurricanes in recorded history.”

Shailene Woodley and Sam Claflin both star in the lead roles as the couple stranded at sea.

This movie looks fascinating to me. Imagine the situation being stranded at sea in a broken down boat with no help on the horizon. It’s horrifying to me. I can’t even contemplate what would go through somebody’s head if they thought death was imminent.

What would you do? I guess your only option is to rise up to the occasion and fight for your life. If you do survive, which seems pretty unlikely, at least you wouldn’t ever have to buy a beer. There’s not a person in the country that wouldn’t buy you a drink to hear your story.

“Adrift” will be released June 1.
