‘Very, Very Vehemently Anti-NRA’ — Meghan McCain Slams CNN, Defends Pro-Gun Students

Meghan McCain called out anti-NRA attitudes on ABC’s The View Wednesday, calling CNN’s gun control town hall a “huge step backwards.”

During a talk about gun violence and Wednesday’s school protests, McCain said, “I just think right now, it’s a very interesting place for someone like me, because we’ve talked about it on the show…the CNN town hall I thought was a huge step backwards.” (RELATED: ‘Inside-The-Beltway Porn’ — Meghan McCain Gives The View A Brutal Reality Check On Trump’s Popularity)

“I felt bad for the way it was handled. I thought it was really inappropriate, and I want to have more conversations that are civil, which I want to tip our hat, we do a do a good job of that on this show.”

“If you’re a student that’s more like Kyle and you don’t want to walk out–no one is for gun violence,” she said, in reference to pro-Second Amendment Parkland survivor Kyle Kashuv(RELATED: ‘So Turned Off’ – Meghan McCain Unloads On Hillary And The Audience Erupts Into Applause)

McCain also said that “the students who are getting the most attention at Parkland the ones that are very, very vehemently anti-NRA.”
