Taylor Swift reportedly believes her boyfriend Joe Alwyn could be the love of her life.
US Weekly reported the following:
The 10-time Grammy winner, 28, and the British actor, 27, are going steady and already thinking about settling down. “Taylor really believes Joe is the one for her,” an insider reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. “She wants to get engaged to him. She just doesn’t feel as though she has to impress anyone at this point.”
Although Swift has notoriously dated former suitors in the public eye, she’s enjoying keeping her romance with Alwyn out of the spotlight. “This is the first time she’s kept the guy private,” the source tells Us. “She really likes Joe. She wants to keep her personal life separate from her work life.”
Damn, I sure am disappointed with this news. There were so many rumors flying around that I had inspired several songs on her new album. I honestly thought that maybe she was trying to signal me. After all, she’s notoriously coy and private. It seemed like the perfect way for her to make contact. One of us is dominating the internet and the other is the most famous singer on the planet. Seemed like the perfect match.
Alas, I guess that it just wasn’t meant to be. It’s a real shame, but I’m happy for her. I’m a huge Swift fan, even if she wouldn’t confirm the rumors, and that means I want to see her rise to the top of the mountain.
Her falling in love again means we’re bound to get at least one more awesome album. That’s something I’m more than ready for.
