Floyd Mayweather recently claimed that he plans to start training in MMA for a potential UFC fight “soon.”

“I’m gonna start soon. We’ve been texting back and forth. We talked a couple times, so we gonna start working out real soon,” Mayweather responded when TMZ Sports asked him about training with the UFC’s Tyron Woodley.

Do you hear that sound off in the distance? That’s the sound of a billion dollars headed down the pipeline for Conor McGregor and Mayweather if they step into the octagon together.

Look, we have all the exact same signals and signs we were getting prior to the boxing match between these two. They both slowly played the hype game, and then ramped it up. The experts said it would never happen, and we all know what happened next.

I doubt Floyd Mayweather gives a damn at all about whether or not he wins a UFC fight. His boxing record is already perfect, and he likely cares way more about money than winning or losing in the UFC.

I put the odds of this happening right now at around 65 percent.
