It only took six hours for “Avengers: Infinity War” to break the record for best advance-selling super hero movie ever, according to Deadline Friday.
Marvel’s next installment in the “Avengers” series has already broken Fandango’s pre-ticket sales records set by “Black Panther” and the previous leader, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”
Based on the trailer that dropped on YouTube earlier in the day, fans are going to get their money’s worth with the all-star collection of heroes like Captain America, Iron Man and Black Widow working together.
“The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe,” a description about the movie read on IMDb.
It’s too early to suggest that Marvel’s next hero film will be the best-selling super hero movie of all time. But it’s clear there’s a lot of excitement for the movie.
And if the comments from more than 1,000 fans who bought tickets to the movie are any indication, “Marvel’s” latest is going to do very well at the box office.
