Failed Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore is still asking voters for money roughly 100 days after he lost the state’s special election to Sen. Doug Jones last December.

The Judge Roy Moore Legal Fund sent out a fundraising email Tuesday asking supporters to “chip in a generous donation,” Politico’s Daniel Strauss tweeted Tuesday. The email mentions the recent congressional election in the 18th district of Pennsylvania, which Moore called a reminder of “just how critical this fight is for the future of our country.”

Alabama residents cast their votes on Dec. 12, 2017, electing Democratic Sen. Doug Jones by nearly 10 percentage points.

Moore refused to accept the defeat after the results came in that evening.

Candidates are not legally required to concede, but the precedent is to gracefully concede the victory to an opponent, an act that is supposed to be symbolic of the American democratic process.
