Jordan Jereb, the self-proclaimed leader of the white nationalist Republic of Florida group that falsely claimed it trained Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz, was arrested at his mother’s Tallahassee home on Wednesday.

According to a report from WTXL ABC 27, FBI agents carried out a search warrant Wednesday morning at 900 Parkview Drive, where Jereb is reportedly living with his mother, and escorted Jereb out of the home and into police custody.

Jereb was arrested for “violation of probation of extortion by threats,” according to court documents obtained by WTXL, and is set for arraignment on Thursday.

In aftermath of the Parkland school shooting, Jereb made headlines by proclaiming that Cruz was a member of the Republic of Florida and even trained with them in paramilitary drills, but he later recanted his statement.
