It’s been months since Hurricane Harvey ripped through the city of Houston, but Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are still committed to the relief effort — especially in terms of helping veterans and their families.

The Wins for Warriors Foundation, founded by Verlander, always serves and honors military members and veterans, but it has taken on a more specific purpose since the storm.
Upton highlighted the efforts of her husband’s foundation on Wednesday and thanked everyone who has supported the cause.
“@winsforwarriors is still working to support military and veteran families impacted by Hurricane Harvey, this is a long-term recovery and important to continue to support these families,” Upton wrote in one Instagram post adding #HoustonStrong to cap it off.
“Thank you to everyone who came out to support @winsforwarriors mission of giving back to #military and #veteran families! We’re so appreciative of all who joined, and forever indebted to those who serve and sacrifice for our freedom,” she wrote in another post.
The rest of the country might have forgotten about the effects of Hurricane Harvey, but it’s good to see that Upton and Verlander are still leading the charge.
