Newly released surveillance video shows how Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock spent his time at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in the days leading up to the shooting.

WATCH:

The videos, published by The New York Times, show Paddock gambling at casino machines, talking with hotel staff, walking through the lobby and sitting at a restaurant.

The video also shows Paddock pulling up to the hotel and an employee unloading several large suitcases onto a hotel rolling cart.

Paddock accompanies the employee as they go up to his room via the service elevator. He brought several more suitcases to his room throughout his stay.

Many of the suitcases presumably held the firearms he used in the attack.

Most hauntingly, Paddock can be seen bringing two more suitcases up the elevator to his room on October 1st, the day that he committed the worst mass shooting in modern American history. (RELATED: Man Gives Tour Of The EXACT Room The Las Vegas Shooter Had [VIDEO])

Paddock opened fire from the windows of his suite at the Mandalay Bay, killing 58 people and injuring hundreds more. There is still no known motive. (RELATED: Sheriff: FBI Has Ongoing Case Against Individual Other Than Paddock [VIDEO])
