Zay Jones’ family has agreed to pay a building $20,000 after the Bills wide receiver got into a bizarre brawl this week.

According to TMZ, Jones’ family shelled out the $20 grand to prevent Zay from being formally charged. For background, Jones was arrested on Monday night for felony vandalism after he reportedly kicked and smashed the window of a penthouse on the 30th floor during a fight with his brother, Cayleb Jones, who plays for the Vikings. It was all caught on video and promptly received national attention because you really don’t see stuff like this every day.

But apparently all charges have been dropped and the Jones brothers’ situation has been sorted out. The LA County District Attorney claims there isn’t enough evidence that Zay acted with “malice or wrongful intent.”

Which is pretty weird because he’s literally caught on camera kicking in a window. But it sounds like everyone has a price and they claim they didn’t want to press charges. In what must be completely unrelated, the damages also cost around $20,000.

Neither the NFL nor the Bills have said whether they plan to discipline Jones for his exhibition.
