One man’s beer belly actually turned out to be a gigantic tumor, which should scare a lot of dudes out there.

Page Six reported the following:

Kevin Daly knew something was wrong when he lost 34 pounds but his pot belly hung around.

In December, the 63-year-old convinced his doctor to do a CAT scan, which revealed the beach ball-size tumor.

The financial planner, from Hoboken, New Jersey, was diagnosed with liposarcoma — a cancer that develops in the fat cells of soft tissue.

Yikes! That’s a pretty scary situation, especially considering how many men on this planet are rocking beer bellies.

Hell, I even have a bit of one myself, and now I’m wondering if I should go get it checked out. Having a beer belly isn’t good by any stretch of the imagination, but it’s substantially less severe than having “ball-size tumor.”

Imagine that guy’s shock thinking he was losing weight, and just couldn’t shake the belly. Getting rid of a beer belly isn’t easy, and it’s a hell of a lot more difficult when it’s actually having a tumor.

Good thing Daly got this thing checked out because it sounds like it was pretty bad. For all the rest of the guys there, maybe spend a little more time wondering if your beer belly is caused by something other than alcohol.
