Tom Brady is determined to keep playing football–so much so that his super model wife has even given up on convincing him to retire.

Gisele Bündchen has repeatedly tried to convince her husband to hang it up and Brady has repeatedly refused her attempts and kept on winning Super Bowls. However, in an interview with The Wall Street Journal published Tuesday, Bündchen sounds as if she’s given up hope and accepted that her husband is going to play for as long as he can.

“It’s not my decision to make,” the former Victoria’s Secret Angel admitted. “It’s his decision, and he knows it. It wouldn’t be fair any other way.” (RELATED: Gisele Can’t Even Convince Tom Brady To Retire)

Brady is already the greatest quarterback of all time, and at age 40 he’s not planning on giving it up anytime soon. Somewhere along the way his wife accepted that and is even encouraging Brady to continue now.

“He’s so focused right now,” Gisele says. “He has a laser focus on just winning and being the best, and I said, ‘You know what? This is what you’re doing right now in your life, and you need to feel complete in it, because if I’m the one who comes and says something and then you make a decision based on something that I said,'” trailing off.

“I would never in my life, ever. I want him to be happy. Believe me, I’ve been with him when he’s losing. Try to be with him after you have lost [Super Bowls]. I mean, I had my fair share, OK? As long as he’s happy, he’s going to be a better father, he’s going to be a better husband, and I just want him to be happy.”

The 37-year-old super model admitted that she does have concerns, such as concussions, “like anyone would,” but it’s more of a worry.

“I’m entitled to have my concerns because my husband is the father of my children,” she said. “If you don’t have your health, what do you have?”
