Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld savaged CNN in his daily monologue for “The Five” on Tuesday, comparing CNN’s coverage of the alleged affair between porn star Stormy Daniels and President Donald Trump to an episode of “Jerry Springer.”

WATCH:

Gutfeld’s most brutal takedown wasn’t of the network itself, but rather of one of its anchors: Brian Stelter. Stelter is the network’s senior media correspondent and hosts a Sunday show called “Reliable Sources.” (RELATED: Brian Stelter Admits That He Let David Hogg Lie On Air Without Correcting Him)

“You’ve finally gone Springer,” Gutfeld said to CNN during his monologue. “All that’s missing is the hair pulling and 300 pound bouncer — maybe Brian Stelter can don a referee shirt.”

Sheesh.

Gutfeld went on to question anchor Anderson Cooper for interviewing the porn star about specific details of her romp with Trump, including whether or not the pair used a condom when they had sex.

“Could this be what Anderson Cooper saw as a career arc?” he asked. “To go from high-class to crass?”
