Johnny Manziel threw for scouts today at Texas A&M pro day, and he’s looked very strong.
Scouts from all 32 teams were in attendance to watch him sling the rock all over the field.

Those balls had some serious zip on them. I think it’s safe to say that we all pretty much agree that Manziel’s arm is looking great these days. No doubt in my mind at all about whether or not he can make the reads necessary to get back to playing some football on Sundays.
Now, that’s a totally different story from whether or not he’s back in other parts. Is he going to put in the time studying? Is he going to show the dedication he lacked the first time around? I have no idea, and only time will tell.
It’s telling that even his critics are starting to come around. For example, a guy I know who has never been huge on Manziel’s antics even admitted today that he looked really good throwing the ball around. It’s a good sign when he’s even winning over his critics.
As one person reports, scouts think he looks better than he did in 2014 when he entered the league.
Hearing really good reports from my scouts on the ground on how Johnny Manziel’s workout went today at Texas A&M’s pro day. One said he even looked better than he did in 2014.
