Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has finally addressed the bizarre video of wide receiver Zay Jones involved in a naked, bloody brawl with his brother Cayleb.
The video surfaced last week. According to TMZ, Zay was fighting Cayleb after he threatened to jump out of the window of a 30th floor penthouse. Zay reportedly kicked in the window and claimed he’d jump through the hole. The footage is pretty unbelievable.
Jones’ family paid the building $20,000 for damage repair and authorities agreed that Zay would not be charged. But the NFL – and more specifically the Bills – waited to address the issue until Tuesday.
“Look, at the end of the day it’s an unfortunate situation and somewhat disappointing,” McDermott said at the NFL Coaches Breakfast in Orlando, FL. “It’s a situation to me that we can all take something from and learn from.”
But McDermott said he doesn’t “foresee” taking any disciplinary action.
