Today is Lady Gaga’s birthday and the singer-songwriter has given us plenty of reasons to never forget her.
Lady Gaga is now 32 years old but she’s packed a punch in the music world. Some of her hits have defined the past decade, including chart topping singles like “Applause,” “Just Dance, “Poker Face,” “Bad Romance,” “Telephone,” and “Alejandro.”
Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, holds six Grammy awards, a Guinness World Record for most weeks on the UK charts, and even a Golden Globe. She’s estimated to be worth a whopping $280 million and is projected to have sold over 24,850,000 albums and 66 million singles worldwide.
Gaga experienced a resurgence after she performed at the Super Bowl LI halftime show in 2017 but she’s always been known to give theatric performances. Everybody remembers when she wore that meat dress to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
Lady Gaga is actively involved in the LGBTQ community and has said her sexuality is fluid. She’s currently engaged to Hollywood agent Christian Carino.
