CNN fawned over Parkland survivor David Hogg in a Wednesday article from CNN that insisted he is “schooling lawmakers” in the gun control debate.
“A brief history of how Parkland survivor David Hogg keeps schooling lawmakers on social media,” CNN tweeted.
— CNN (@CNN) March 29, 2018
The article claimed that Hogg “has mastered the art of the clapback” and “keeps showing that kids raised in the age of the Internet can give as much as they get.”
CNN’s pro-Hogg tweet and article are especially ridiculous given the fact that media reporter Brian Stelter admitted he let Hogg get away with making non-factual statements on his show “Reliable Sources.” (RELATED:Brian Stelter Admits That He Let David Hogg Lie On Air Without Correcting Him)
Twitter users themselves clapped back at CNN for their bias in elevating the most vocal gun control activist to come out of the Parkland school shooting.

Some have asked why I keep calling out the bullying, smears, and dishonesty from Hogg.
It’s bc CNN, which has turned into a one-sided activist platform on this issue, continues to promote him at the expense of reasonable voices (including the families of Parkland victims) https://t.co/ItDuUnSbZ2

David Hogg is yet another problem CNN has created and then foisted on us. https://t.co/d1KuXxSq1M

Actually, Hogg has simply pushed empty rhetoric devoid of fact. Want to see someone actually “schooling” lawmakers like @timkaine? Check out @KyleKashuv‘s feed. Sloppy reporting, CNN. https://t.co/wvZL9pcGxY

CNN has refused to give airtime to equally vocal pro-gun students, such as Kyle Kashuv, whose scheduled interview with anchor Brooke Baldwin was canceled at the last minute over a perceived tweet from the Parkland survivor. (RELATED: CNN Cancels Interview With Kyle Kashuv)
