The Final Four is tomorrow night, and it’s one of the greatest days in all of sports.

It’s been a long week. People are dying with anticipation for the games to start. The first one gets underway at 6:09 EST between Michigan and Loyola.

I’m not going to lie. This is by far and away the game I’m most excited for. Loyola has stolen hearts all over America, and I’m pretty sure Sister Jean might actually be an angel. I have no proof to back that statement up, but I just have a feeling. It’s kind of like how I know a woman is going to shoot me down at a bar before it happens. I can’t prove it, but I know it to be true.

This is also a game that tears at my heart. I’m a Big Ten guy. I’ve spent pretty much my whole life in Big Ten country, even the faux-Big Ten country of Washington D.C..

Would I like to see the Big Ten win a championship? Sure, but I’d also like to see Sister Jean stomp on the haters.

I’m mostly just hoping for a great game between Kansas and Villanova. Would love to see Kansas win that game because Nova’ fans are the worst.

There are very few things a man of my age looks forward to in life. Very few. I look forward to a great steak, a few cold beers and maybe a woman shooting me a wink. The Final Four might be above all those things for me. It’s a borderline religion where I come from. You think this is a game? This is life, and tomorrow we’ll find out two more teams that are winners in this crazy journey.

My routine for tomorrow is going to be simple. I’ll crack my first beer when I wake up, have a few more in the showers, fire up College Hoops 2K8 on PS3 for the nostalgic factor, game plan what each team needs to do to win, keep drinking beer, have a couple pizzas, assemble squad and prepare for one hell of a night.

Get the party started!
