CNN and MSNBC are very “concerned” about Sinclair Broadcasting’s “propaganda” campaign — so much so that they’ve started stealing each other’s talking points.

WATCH:

The media outlets had a collective meltdown after Deadspin compiled a video of local news networks owned by Sinclair reading the same script warning viewers against fake news.

The script itself was rather innocuous and non-partisan, reading in part:

Unfortunately, some members of the media use their platforms to push their own personal bias and agenda to control ‘exactly what people think’ … This is extremely dangerous to a democracy … It’s our responsibility to pursue and report the truth. We understand Truth is neither politically ‘left nor right.’ Our commitment to factual reporting is the foundation of our credibility, now more than ever.

In fact, the entire message — which Sinclair has defended as “promoting our journalistic initiative for fair and objective reporting” — doesn’t sound much different from CNN’s “Facts First” campaign. (RELATED: Twitter Mocks CNN For Awkward ‘Facts First’ Ad)

Nonetheless, because Sinclair is the right-leaning competition and the script mentions “false news,” members of the establishment media derided the message as pro-Trump propaganda.

In the process of doing so, CNN and MSNBC anchors and pundits seemed to repeat the same talking points over and over again, crying about how “concerned” and “chilled” they were by the video.(RELATED: Democrats Write The News: ‘Weapons Of War’)

This wouldn’t be the first time these outlets have been caught in a chorus. In our “Democrats Write The News” series, The Daily Caller has exposed how these outlets latch on to words and phrases from Democratic lawmakers and repeat them ad nauseam.
