A last minute wardrobe malfunction forced actress Jenna Fischer to do a live interview with Jimmy Kimmel on Monday night wearing a bath towel, cropped blue jeans, and stilettos. The actress, who appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to promote her new comedy series “Splitting Up Together,” blamed her odd appearance on procrastination and a broken zipper.
Fischer walked onstage carrying the burgundy dress she had planned to wear, and then explained, “So, this was my outfit. For tonight. I waited a little too long to get dressed and then my zipper broke and I panicked. I’m a Missouri girl, and the show must go on.”

Kimmel quickly welcomed Fischer to the show, saying that he had no complaints about her attire, but she interrupted him. “I’ve never been more comfortable. Yeah, I fell, I mean, yes and no comfortable. I am mentally a little freaking out because I’m on a talk show in a towel, but I’m physically very comfortable.”
Fischer, whose co-star on “Breaking Up Together” is Oliver Hudson (brother to Kate Hudson), said that her dream would be to have Hudson’s mother, actress Goldie Hawn, come by the set. “I want her to, so badly, because I’m a huge fan of hers from everything.”
