Tiger Woods Isn’t Settling For Anything But A Win At The Masters

We’ll see whether or not Tiger Woods is really back at the end of this week.

There is no question that the 42-year-old golfer is playing better than he has in years and while his game has fluctuated his winning mentality hasn’t wavered. A few weeks back Woods was the favorite to win The Masters and while he’s slipped a few spots back, he still likes his chances going in.

ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi asked the four-time Masters champion a few questions ahead of his official return to Augusta National on Wednesday and Tiger’s responses should give his fans chills.

When asked what success would be this time around, Tiger confidently responded “a W.”

“No equivocation,” Rinaldi responded. “Okay, a green jacket,” Woods said.

Then, when asked who’s the favorite heading into round one, Tiger slyly said “I like my chances.”

Woods has missed three of the last four tournaments at Augusta National Golf Course due to back injuries, but has returned looking like his old self this week. And his confidence alone should have his fans on the edge of their seats back home waiting to see if Tiger is really back and in the hunt.
