MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough accused White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders of lying Thursday.

“Here we have one more example…of Sarah Huckabee Sanders lying,” Scarborough said. “Two lies there. One, McMaster never said that no one has been tougher on Russia than Donald Trump. That is a lie, full stop. Sarah Huckabee Sanders lied yesterday, again.”

Perhaps the reason Scarborough is so quick to call Sanders a liar is because of how she handled the press Wednesday.
A reporter asked, “This sense of urgency about sending the National Guard to the border, does this have anything to do with the report that the president saw on Fox News?”
Sanders hit back, “It has everything to do with protecting the people of this country.”
