President Trump spoke to families and business owners who have benefited from the Republican tax cuts at a Thursday roundtable in West Virginia.

Joining the people onstage was the governor of West Virginia, Jim Justice. Justice complimented Trump for his focus on the state and the strides West Virginia has made economically under Trump.

“He genuinely cares about West Virginia,” Justice said, before diving into an interesting story about the president. Justice recalled a gift Trump gave to the workers at a local Hardee’s restaurant.

“The last time [Trump] was here, I was in a limousine with him and I said, ‘Mr. President, the ladies down at Hardee’s this morning when I was going through were out of their minds.’ They said ‘Can you please tell him we said ‘hi’ and we love him and everything else?’ He looked at me and he said, ‘You like Hardees?’ He said, ‘I like McDonald’s.’ Then I asked him if he could sign something to give to those ladies. They looked all through the limo and finally, he pulled out his speech and he wrote, ‘Hardee’s gals, take care of Big Jim, a great guy and a great friend. Donald J. Trump.”

The crowd cheered.

Justice continued, saying he “loves” Trump.

“That is what kind of man we have in this office,” Justice said, “I love him with all of my heart and I will support him to the death.”

Trump replied, “That’s very nice Jim.”
