A fire broke out at Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan late Saturday afternoon. What was initially a two-alarm blaze has since been upgraded to a three-alarm blaze.

More than 100 New York City firefighters have been dispatched to tackle the blaze.

All reports indicate that the fire is on the 50th floor of the high rise.

President Trump, who lives with his family on floors 66, 67, and 68, responded publicly after learning that the fire had been contained.

UPDATE: One person reportedly perished in the fire, ABC7 NY reports.
