It is ironic the federal government is crusading against Facebook in the name of personal privacy, after trampling the privacy rights of most citizens, Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said.

“Delicious irony. These Senators ranting and raving about Facebook violating privacy — What is the greatest violator of personal privacy on the planet? The federal government,” Napolitano said Wednesday on Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria.”

“The government they run, and that they fund and that they authorize,” he continued.

“They can get everything. They know everywhere I go when this [holds up cell phone] is with me,” Napolitano concluded. “Every conversation I have, even when you and I talk in the green room. Every email that I send and every text that I send.”
