Sarah Michelle Gellar turns 41 Thursday! While it’s hard to believe she’s a day over 35, she has a jam-packed career to show for it.
Gellar’s acting career started just at the age of four, after being spotted by an agent in New York City. She made her debut in the television movie“An Invasion of Privacy,” but her breakthrough role came in 1993 when she was cast for the ABC soap opera “All My Children.”
Becoming a household name in 1997 for her role in popular teen drama “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” she started to gather more prominent roles in films such as “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” “Scooby-Doo,” and “The Grudge.”
Gellar’s philanthropic endeavors include advocacy work for breast cancer research, Project Angel Food, Habitat for Humanity and CARE. She has also participated in granting wishes for sick children through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Let’s celebrate Sarah today with her best photos throughout the years.
