ABC’s new show “The Crossing” is everything I’d hoped it would be, and it’s worth watching.

I’ve been following this show’s development ever since I first got wind of it. With anything on network television, there is always a chance you’re going to be royally disappointed. That’s not the case here.

The Steve Zahn-led show about Americans from the future seeking refuge in the current day is a pretty cool idea that is well executed. It also certainly helps that Zahn is outstanding.

ABC’s show “LOST” changed television, and so many people have tried to replicate the formula. Every attempt to be the next “LOST” has failed miserably.

“The Crossing” isn’t “LOST” or as good. Let’s be clear on that issue, but that doesn’t mean the show isn’t entertaining.

We’re only two episodes in, but I’m loving all of it so far. Now, it could take a turn for the worse at any given time, but let’s hope it doesn’t.

So far, “The Crossing” is an entertaining ride.
