President Donald Trump’s lawyer is reportedly not happy about waking up in the center of an FBI investigation.

A New York Post reporter overheard attorney Michael Cohen talking with adman turned TV celebrity Donny Deutsch after lunch at a toney restaurant located inside the clothing store Barney’s in New York City Wednesday.

“How’s your wife?” Deutsch asked Cohen, according to the Post.

“Not good,” was Cohen’s reply. “She didn’t sign up for this.”

The FBI raided Cohen’s office under authorization from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.

The Post could get no comment from either Cohen or Deutsch as they elbowed past its reporter — with Deutsch hopping into his black Mercedes and Cohen hoofing it to his temporary residence at the Loews Regency Hotel.

Earlier that day, as the Post recounts, Deutsch had been a guest on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” where he gave a backhanded endorsement of Cohen:

“When you see him as a character from a distance you say ‘OK, he’s thuggish.’ When you know him, there is something actually very likable about him. Very likable. Very likable about him,” Deutsch said.

“I know this is bizarre to say. He seems like a good guy.”
