The Los Angeles Lakers had a scout in attendance for Prienu Vytautas’s game against Nevezis Thursday to evaluate LiAngelo Ball, according to Lithuanian reporter Donatas Urbonas.

Another NBA hopeful, 6’7″ Tadas Sedekerskis, was also on the court for Nevezis, so the scout could have been there to look at both prospects.

In the game, Ball finished with 12 points, connecting on all three of his shots from behind the arc.

His brother, LiMelo Ball, sat out with a back injury.

The middle one of the three Ball brothers, LiAngelo Ball, has already declared for this year’s NBA Draft.

Many do not expect him to get drafted, especially with the circuitous route he’s taken to get to this point.

The eldest Ball brother, Lonzo Ball, just concluded his rookie season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Their father, the infamous LaVar Ball, has stated on multiple occasions that all three of his sons will play for the Lakers.

Ball started this yeaat UCLA. He and two other teammates were accused of shoplifting while the team was playing exhibition games in China. The three of them were forced to stay in the country while the United States government and Chinese government sorted things out. They were suspended indefinitely by the program.

LiAngelo Ball then left the team to play professionally in Lithuania with his younger brother LaMelo Ball.

The youngest of the Ball children had been getting homeschooled by their father.

LaMelo Ball is not eligible for the NBA Draft until 2020, barring an NBA rule change. He was expected to be a potential lottery pick, but a lot can change between then and now.
