Former FBI director James Comey proclaimed in a new interview that he wants Hillary Clinton to read his book and think he’s an “honest idiot.”

In a video interview published by USA Today Monday, Comey said, “I pray no FBI director ever has to deal with this again, ’cause it was just a series of no win decisions, and so ‘which would be the least bad decision?’ is constantly what we’re thinking in the book.”
“And, my hope is, I even hope Hillary Clinton at least reads those parts of the book, cause I think she will walk away saying, ‘you know what, I still think that guy’s an idiot, but, you know, he’s kind of an honest idiot, and he’s trying to do the right thing here, and I kind of get actually what he was faced with.” (RELATED: ‘Outrageously Unbelievable’ — Sarah Sanders Rips James Comey For Lying And Leaking)
