A New York Times reporter was caught taking a quick power nap during an MSNBC segment about former FBI director James Comey’s CBS interview Monday afternoon.

The Gray Ladies’ Peter Baker was brought on “MSNBC Live with Craig Melvin” with conservative talk show host Charlie Sykes and former FBI assistant director Frank Figliuzzi, but Baker could barely keep consciousness when the cameras switched on.

Watch:

Baker’s eyes fluttered open and shut while his body wavered back and forth, signaling either a lack of sleep or what the rest of us are thinking — this porn star-and-president story is getting old.

“Totally understand dozing off while *watching* me, but it looks like I’m boring myself now,” Baker joked when American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp pointed out his sleepy demeanor.

“I assumed you were reading something,” another Twitter user remarked.

“Let’s go with that…,” Baker replied.
