Apparently Advocating For Killing Alligators Is A Bit Too Hot Of A Take

People are not overly happy that I think alligators should be killed if they’re near golfers on the course.

I’ve gotten some pretty feisty e-mails over the past week after I wrote a couple times that these beasts need to be taken out ASAP. I argued in part:

I’m being serious when I say that we need to start shooting these things.

Alligators should have died with the rest of the dinosaurs. I don’t know why they didn’t, but I really wish they would have. Those beasts have no business being around humans. It’s time for an extermination effort against alligators. It’s a harsh thing to say, but it’s 100 percent true.

Allow me to clarify. I’m not saying we need to hunt down every alligator out there. That would of course not be necessary.

What I am saying is that alligators that get near humans need to be eliminated. They kill people all the time. The wiki entries for alligator deaths are plentiful. People need to calm down, and look at the facts.

An alligator doesn’t see you as humans. They see you as a quick snack. Don’t be a fool. These animals are not our friends. They are here to cause potential mass chaos. Don’t slaughter the ones who are just chilling in the water. However, I would fire away at any at a golf course. It’s time to send a message.
