Ana Navarro attacked President Donald Trump on Thursday morning, claiming that he only holds policy positions “for less time than you would hold a yoga position.” Navarro, guest hosting on ABC’s “The View,” was addressing the dust-up between United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and Larry Kudlow, the recently-appointed Director of the National Economic Council.

“Look, we have seen this from Trump, time and time again. He holds a position for less time than what you would hold a yoga position for. We saw it on immigration, we saw it on guns, and now we saw it on sanctions. I think they clearly reversed themselves. Nikki Haley is a careful woman, she is a deliberate woman, she’s not out there just shooting from the hip.”

Sunny Hostin also credited Haley with being one of the best parts of the Trump administration, while making it clear that she disagreed with nearly every political position Haley holds. “I’m not a huge Nikki Haley fan, I don’t like her politics. I remember in 2012 she said that minority groups were just special interest groups, in 2010 she said a marriage is just between a man and a woman … but on this issue, I think it’s significant, she’s the only one in this cabinet that looks better in this administration than she looked to me going in.”

Navarro then went on to suggest that perhaps Haley just “hadn’t evolved” yet on those particular issues. “Let’s be fair, in 2010 there were a lot of folks including some in the Obama administration, on the left or the right who had not evolved yet. I don’t know what the hell there is to evolve on…”

Navarro was guest-hosting while regular cohost Meghan McCain returned home to Arizona to be with her father, Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) as he continues to recover from surgery.
