Senator Bob Corker questioned whether President Donald Trump will run for another term of office, in a Thursday interview on CNN.
“I have no idea who’s going to run for president in 2020 and I’m not about to say who I will support for that, so we have no idea who’s going to run,” Corker said, adding “whether the president runs again or not is questionable, candidly.”
“He might. He might not. Who knows? When it comes time ask me that question when we know that for real papers have been filed and we know who the field is. I’d be more than glad to come forward as I always do and tell you what I think,” Corker continued.
Trump however has pledged repeatedly to run again for office 2020 even expressing his intent to do son on the night he was elected in November 2016. The President also named Brad Parscale the campaign manager of his re-election bid.
