At some point in 2017, my iPad ceased working. Since I’m a big iPad guy (it’s the best way to watch Yankees games when the living room TV is being used by my roommates), this led me to ask for a new iPad for Christmas. I did receive one. (Thanks, Mom and Dad!) I also received an iPad case. When I unwrapped it, my pop said, “We figured we had to get you one; we knew you’d never buy one for yourself.” (He is certainly right…I don’t even have a case for my iPhone).
