Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing adult film star Stormy Daniels in her case against President Donald Trump, made an appearance at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner — and managed to crash a live CNN interview with Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Kellyanne Conway.
The White House press secretary and senior advisor, respectively, were telling CNN about President Trump’s decision to attend a rally and “be with the people” rather than attend the dinner, which he also skipped last year. A few seconds into the interview, Avenatti walked by in the background.
As he walked by, Avenatti appeared to realize that the two were on camera — and he quickly did his best to grab as much screen time as possible.

Avenatti’s client and the ongoing case against Trump attorney Michael Cohen, who admitted to paying Daniels a sum of $130,000 to refrain from speaking about her relationship with Trump, provided some of the material for host Michelle Wolf’s set during the event.
