Alyssa Milano Promotes Day Of Mourning Ahead Of Anti-NRA Rally

Alyssa Milano promoted a “Day of Mourning”on Tuesday that will be held on Friday ahead of an anti-National Rifle Association rally Saturday in Dallas, Texas.

“On Friday, @NoRA4USA will hold a Day of Mourning. We will share the names of those under 18 who lost their lives to gun violence this year. It will take ten hours to complete. #NoRA #KidsKilledByGuns,” the 45-year-old actress tweeted to her millions of followers.

The official Twitter account for the event says it’s a chance to “fight to take our government back.”

“On Friday, May 4th, beginning at 11AM ET, #NoRA will host a National Day of Mourning. We will tweet the names of every child and teen killed by guns this year. It will take ten hours to complete.Join us in our vigil, and our fight to take our government back from the @NRA,” the organization tweeted.

Last week, Milano encouraged her followers to join her at the Texas event to protest the NRA convention and Vice President Mike Pence speaking there.
