Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano said Thursday on “Fox & Friends” it’s “dangerous” for Rudy Giuliani to call for an end to the Robert Mueller probe, saying it could destroy the credibility of the federal government.

Co-host Ainsley Earhardt said Giuliani believes the probe should come to an end because of the massive government corruption surrounding the case.

“That is a dangerous argument to make,” said Napolitano. “There are 90,000 people that work in the Justice Department. There are 8,000 FBI agents. These people are doing the work of protecting our lives, our liberty and our property.”

WATCH:

“For [Giuliani] to say that the Justice Department is out of control or that the government is corrupt is an argument that’s going to be used by criminal defense lawyers in legitimate prosecutions,” Napolitano said. “As if to say, ‘don’t believe the government anymore.’”
