White House press secretary Sarah Sanders took questions from the press Monday afternoon as President Trump’s decision on the Iran deal looms.

Sanders was asked about if Trump is “wavering” on his decision based on last minute lobbying by world leaders.

Sanders said, “The president will make an announcement on what his decision is soon,” noting that Trump still has a number of days to do so.

The reporter then asked about the shadow diplomacy of John Kerry. The Boston Globe reported Friday that Kerry has been secretly meeting  with politicians and diplomats around the world in an attempt to salvage the future of the Iran deal and undermine the current administration.

Kerry was one of the key architects of the deal. The reporter asked if Kerry’s backdoor lobbying will “impact deliberations.” Sanders had a nuke of her own to drop on Kerry. “I don’t think it impacts it at all,” Sanders said. “I don’t think he would take advice from somebody who created what the president sees to be one of the worst deals ever made.”

Sanders added, “I’m not sure why we would start listening to him now.”
