Former New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has resigned after a bombshell report was released in the New Yorker in which multiple women claim that he physically and sexually abused them.
As the allegations mount against Schneiderman, one of the worst comes from his former girlfriend, Tanya Selvaratnam. Selvaratnam, who is Sri Lankan, says Schneiderman called her his “brown slave” and demanded she call him “Master.”
According to the New York Post:
“Sometimes, he’d tell me to call him Master, and he’d slap me until I did,” Selvaratnam said.
“He started calling me his ‘brown slave’ and demanding that I repeat that I was ‘his property.'”
Selvaratnam said, “The slaps started after we’d gotten to know each other.”
“It was at first as if he were testing me. Then it got stronger and harder. It wasn’t consensual. This wasn’t sexual playacting. This was abusive, demeaning, threatening behavior.”
To add insult to injury, the president’s son Donald Trump Jr. tweeted the article. He said, “Hey Eric, it’s not ‘role play’ if only one of you is in on it.”

Ironically, Schneiderman was a champion of the #MeToo movement in recent months, vocally supporting women speaking about against abuse before he was forced to resign.
