“Are you willing to fully cooperate with the treasury department’s inspector general?” asked CNN host Wolf Blitzer.

“We are willing to cooperate with that investigation, we will and we have nothing to hide,” answered Avenatti.

Avenatti then took a hit at Giuliani leaving his former law firm. “But I would like to comment on Mr. Giuliani’s firing today — and that’s what it is, let’s be clear, it’s not a resignation, that’s trying to put lipstick on a pig,” he said.

I’m familiar with Greenberg Traurig,” saying that the firm “took exception to what Mr. Giuliani said because it’s so outside the norm of how attorneys practice.”

“They forced him out of the firm so maybe he has enough time now, maybe he’ll come on with me and we can have an educated discussion about the facts this case as opposed to a bunch of name call,” he continued.

Avenatti has recently come under fire for potentially receiving money from opposing political interests to President Trump. (Related: EXCLUSIVE: ‘Utter Bulls***’ — Avenatti Denies ‘Political Interests’ Are Paying Him)
