President Donald Trump didn’t call all immigrants “animals” like the media wants you to believe. The president was specifically referring to members of the brutal MS-13 gang who are operating in and out of the U.S.

Journalists have been sharing a selectively edited clip posted by C-SPAN that only shows a short portion of the meeting about sanctuary cities that took place at the White House on Wednesday.

The Daily Caller’s Vince Coglianese and Stephanie Hamill call the media out on this and debate other topics in this episode of The DC Today.

“You wouldn’t believe how bad these people are. These aren’t people, these are animals, and we’re taking them out of the country at a level and at a rate that’s never happened before,” Trump said.

These comments were in response to the discussion about MS-13 gang members trying to enter the U.S. illegally.

“The press really would like to see President Trump be a big fat racist. But it doesn’t work here, the fact is he was asked about MS-13, he referred to them as ‘animals.’ Open and shut, there’s nothing more to this,” Coglianese said.

The question is: were journalists too lazy to watch the entire roundtable discussion, or are they being dishonest? We’ll let you decide.
